History of Community

Since 1958, Preston Royal Village has provided Dallas with a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors to socialize, shop and dine with fellow neighbors. Inextricably tied to the community, from Dougherty’s Pharmacy to Eatzi’s, the community place has grown and changed as new generations continue to take their first steps on the sidewalks.

While preserving Preston Royal’s historic charm, EDENS implemented architectural improvements with enhanced façades, storefronts and outdoor dining areas, as well as better-quality sidewalks and parking. To elevate the community experience, a mix of local and national retailers have enriched Preston Royal as a neighborhood shopping destination. With more than 60 retailers, including Sur La Table, Shake Shack, Pure Barre, along with local favorites Royal China and Ken’s Man’s Shop, Preston Royal is reflective of the flourishing community.
